Starting the Kickstart
A new place,a new start and ah! a la renaissance of the old and left behind "nostalgic hostel life"!Little bit of mixed reactions finding myself back into the academic life...albeit at a different location after those long graduation years.Ah yet again into the classrooms after a good 3 years exploring the corporate complexities..BSchool for 'Sandy'..well it sounds nice...could well term myself a "jack of all and master of...buisness management"(i saw it on a black back yesterday!) a good two years later!An IIM T-Shirt to ornate myself at times just to make tht amazing 'feel good' impact!Hallowed portals as they call them...the big ivy league of our very own!
An amazing campus at Kozhkode....stunning looks in the lap of the hilly terrain with amazing views all around.....the foggy mornings giving way to a cloudy day;my first day at 'gods own campus'!(ah tht was 21st June 2006)It's architectural beauty plus the nature being at its very best...an utter photographers delight !!Kodak moments galore!
New faces surrounding me..all eager...bustling with energy..all geared to make a new beginning...the initial euphoria!lots of new names to remember and i guess a lot of new habits to get accustomed to!!alas it's my new world....the next 2 years...!The Class of 2008!
It's gonna be classes,seminars,lectures n presentations galore thou all these can wait for the coming monday.The lazy bones can still keep hibernating a little longer until awakened to the rigours of management studies...ah my rosy world decimating in an utter plethora of work!!
The seniors had a tuf few 'weekdays' as we saw then hopping form one class to another the whole day long..."will catch u guys later" being the common cliche....."just a lil late for the lecture" as someone else screamed along..as he went running through the myraid of steps that leads our way through the zigzag paths.... little indiactions of the "running" left for us to do in the days ahead.... signs ominous enuf for Lazy n "poor me" to get his belts all tied up!
As clouds get across the horizon yet again..this time a little threatening thou...its another day tht leads itself to the twilight....Rains & Monsoons are key words to the best part of the year in Kerela...and as the snowy pourings keep landing across,its time to get drenched,not in the waters but in the 'Joy'...a joy of the new 'Aaghaz'!
My first couple of days are all over at IIMK!!what lies ahead is an ordeal...and never mind,its gonna chisel me for good!...that's what i heard them all saying....the mortals who have been through the grind and done it before me...the succinct way to put in a simple fact "Fascinating years awaiting for the chosen few"!IIMK will never leave us the same what it found us...2008 shall however reveal!
